Our team of psychologists are trained to understand the broad spectrum of presenting problems and have experience working with all the common psychological disorders as well as many of the less common difficulties. Often people are surprised to find out that they are not the only person who has ever experienced the set of symptoms they are struggling with. At Think Mental Health we offer a range of evidence based and evidence informed services specific to adolescents. We have numerous members of our team who specialise in working with young people during this critical period of development. Our team members who work with adolescents are trained to understand the normal developmental challenges during this period and how things can go wrong. We work to build a strong therapeutic relationship with your teenager, to enable them to understand the young person’s experiences and then assist them to build the knowledge, skills and strategies to better manage any challenges or difficulties they may be facing.

Children
Under 12 years
At Think Mental Health we offer a range of evidence based and evidence informed psychological services specific to children and families. We understand that as children grow and change, their needs will vary. We have staff who have a special interest and training in working with children and their families. These psychologists are sensitive to development across the lifespan and specialise in understanding emotion and behaviours from the child’s perspective. Our team use creative approaches and tools to engage children and help them to grow.
