Meet William
Will is a registered psychologist dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and their families through challenges related to anxiety, depression, insomnia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). With a passion for empowering young people, Will utilizes a creative, empathetic, and person-centered approach, striving to build genuine connections that foster resilience and growth.
After completing Honours in Psychology at the Australian National University, Will attained general registration following an internship at the Canberra Medicare Mental Health Center. He continues to work in the community mental health sector two days a week, delivering both individual psychological treatments and group therapy programs tailored to moderate and severe mental health presentations in adults. This experience has enriched Will’s clinical versatility, allowing for informed and compassionate care across diverse client needs.
Primarily trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Will also integrates other evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed therapeutic methods. By combining these approaches, Will provides comprehensive care aimed at empowering clients to achieve their goals and helping them build a life worth living.
