Meet William

William is a provisional psychologist undertaking his final, 6th year professional training with Think Mental Health, after completing his tertiary education in Psychology at the Australian National University. Will works at Canberra Head to Health within the Assessment and Treatment Team, providing a range of evidence based treatments, delivering individual therapy and delivering group programs, including Men’s resilience and Healthy Coping.  Will joins the Think clinic team to focus on his work with children, adolescents and families. He is available Mondays and Tuesdays from April 2024.

Will’s approach to therapy is empathetic, person-centred and collaborative. He has been trained in delivering evidence-based therapies, predominantly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) along with knowledge about Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. 

Will has experience working with a broad range of mental health presentations, including; anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, insomnia, life stress and disordered eating.

Fees are significantly lower for provisional psychologist sessions. If you are interested, please contact the practice.
