Meet Monon
Monon is a warm and collaborative Clinical Psychologist dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for her clients. She enjoys working with adolescents (15+) and adults across the lifespan, and holds a special interest in women’s mental health and supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations.
With experience addressing a wide range of presentations—including anxiety, depression, stress, OCD, PTSD, binge eating, bulimia nervosa, and relationship difficulties—Monon takes an evidence-based approach to therapy. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). These frameworks help her clients gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and actions, empowering them to develop new and valued ways of responding to life’s challenges.
Monon believes in the power of a genuine therapeutic connection. She brings a sense of warmth and humor to her sessions, working collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences and foster personal growth. She completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra (UC). Prior to joining Think, Monon gained valuable experience at the Canberra Hospital, headspace Queanbeyan, and the Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre, where she delivered both individual and group therapy.
