Meet Anna

Anna is a clinical registrar who has experience supporting children, young people, and adults. She aims to empower her clients and foster a therapeutic space centered around warmth, authenticity, and safety.

Anna has experience working with a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), neurodevelopmental conditions, emotional regulation challenges, and interpersonal difficulties. She also has a particular interest in working with athletes given her background in elite sport. Her approach is evidence and strengths-based, primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP), while also drawing from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when appropriate.

She has worked across different therapeutic settings including private practice, school-based and university-based settings, as well as specialised assessment clinics. Alongside her clinical practice, Anna is completing her studies at ANU where her research is focused on increasing our understanding of wellbeing outcomes of children in Australian child protection.

Originally from New Zealand, Anna completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the USA and the UK before commencing her studies in Australia. She was also a dedicated athlete who was a national representative and competed internationally.
