Meet Joanna

Joanna is a clinical registrar undertaking the clinical registrar program. Jo is passionate about connecting with clients from a person-centred perspective. She has experience treating a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, stress, substance use, disordered eating and trauma-related difficulties.

Jo brings a range of life and professional work experience to her practice and enjoys working with all people across the lifespan. She provides evidence-based treatment, mainly within the frameworks of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

She completed the Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra while working in the public service and during her training, Jo provided in-person and telehealth psychological services at the University Clinic, through private practice, and hospital acute care settings.
