Meet Michelle
Michelle is a registered psychologist who has experience in a broad range of psychological areas. Her experience is primarily with adults, older persons and older adolescents (16+) and she has a strong interest in trauma management, including the use of eye movement desensitisation and reprogramming (EMDR) therapy.
Michelle is experienced in working with individuals who experience anxiety and panic disorder, adjustment to injury and illness (including pain and chronic injury, cancer and other major medical conditions), depression and stress management.
She also has an interest in working with older adults, including those with complex physical and mental health issues and later life planning
Michelle graduated with a dual Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong. She has worked as a psychologist and coordinator in Epworth Hospitals’ (Melbourne) pain management programs and as a workplace rehabilitation consultant and in private practice at the Brisbane Counselling Centre in Queensland.
