Meet Caitlin
Caitlin is a clinical psychologist who was drawn to working in mental health while practising as a registered nurse. Caitlin has a strong interest in working with women and their families in the perinatal period (prior to conception, during pregnancy and the first two years of the baby’s life). She also has an excellent ability to build rapport with children and adults and is available to work with adolescents, their families, and individual adults.
As a registered nurse, Caitlin practised at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Intensive Care Services, Duntroon Health Centre and the Belconnen Mental Health Team. On becoming a psychologist, Caitlin worked at Headspace Queanbeyan, the Belconnen Mental Health team and ACT’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. She also worked as a clinical lead at Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre, which is managed by Think Mental Health, prior to moving into the ACT Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Consultation Service.
