Meet Josh
Josh is a clinical registrar who has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and is particularly passionate about working with adults and older adolescents. He has worked with a range of clinical presentation including anxiety, depression, stress management, procrastination, emotional dysregulation, and specific phobias.
Josh works with an evidence-based approach of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) whilst also being informed by dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to tailor interventions to specific clients’ individual circumstances. Josh’s approach to therapy is collaborative and focused on developing a space where clients feel comfortable to explore pathways to their therapeutic goals.
Josh completed his Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra and he has provided psychological interventions in both individual and group settings, working across clinical environments environments including community health, private practice and university clinics. Josh is currently dividing his time between private practice at the Think Clinic and community health at Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre.
