Meet Caitlin
Caitlin is a clinical psychologist and is passionate about working with clients who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress and interpersonal issues. Caitlin’s experience and interest is primarily with adults and older adolescents (15+).
Caitlin strongly believes the therapeutic relationship is vital and therapy should be tailored to the needs of each client. She primarily works from an acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) approach while also utilising cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) frameworks.
Caitlin completed her Honours and Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Canberra while working in the public service at the Department of Human Services. During her training, she provided therapy at the University Clinic, in a mental health community setting and in private practice.
Prior to commencing with Think, Caitlin worked at a Canberra based not-for-profit community organisation and in private practice, providing psychological treatment to adults and adolescents and their families who are experiencing mental health disorders.
