Psychology Services for Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs)

Do you have a genuine passion for quality mental health services and an interest in support of our older people living in residential aged care facilities in the ACT?

Think Mental Health is seeking to fill a newly created Senior Clinician position (Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020, Health Professional Level 3) to be part of the new project delivering psychological services into RACHs.

Full-time, though part time/job share arrangements considered, long-term contract position.

Reception positions

Part time – suitable for undergraduate students, previous reception experience desirable but not required.

Psychologist

Part time or Full time – need to be generally registered. Exposure to large multidisciplinary private clinic, range of mild-moderate presentations, individual and peer supervision, supportive team environment.

Intake worker

Part time or Full time – suitable for those doing 4/5/6+yr study, registration not required. Exposure to consumers, assessments, risk assessment, clinical groups and care coordination.

Mental Health clinician

MH clinician: PT or FT – suitable for those generally registered, finishing PhD or post clinical Masters. Exposure to multidisciplinary team, assessments, individual therapy, supervision, running groups (including DBT).
