Meet Jason
Jason is a director and founder of Think Mental Health with over 20 years of experience and expertise in various clinical psychology roles. Jason has a particular interest in gambling and gambling related harm, alcohol dependence and abuse, PTSD in first responders and returned service men and women, anxiety and psychotic disorders.
Apart from his clinical work, Jason is also Think’s Managing Director overseeing both the private clinic and Think’s community sector organisation which is commissioned to provide the ACTs Medicare Mental Health Centres and phone line and the Think WISE service which provides psychological services to those in residential Aged Care Homes. Jason is also a member of the ACT Clinical Council at Capital Health Network, the ACT’s Primary Health Network.
Before founding Think Mental Health with Vanessa, Jason worked in various clinical roles at Lifeline Gambling Care, the ACT Academy of Sport, and the Australian Institute of Sport, as well as consulting for the AFL Players Association. He has also held non-clinical positions at Ernst and Young, ANU, and Mercer Australia.
