Meet Jason
Jason is a director and founder of Think Mental Health and has nearly 20 years of expertise in various clinical psychology roles. Jason has a particular interest in gambling and gambling-related harm, trauma (PTSD), anxiety disorders (panic attacks, generalised anxiety), psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, and alcohol dependence and abuse.
Apart from his clinical work, Jason is also our Managing Director overseeing Think Mental Health sites, including Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre, and the clinic’s employee assistance programs (EAP). He provides consultancy services and regularly liaises with external governmental and community sector agencies. Jason is currently the co-chair of the ACT Clinical Council at Capital Health Network, the ACT’s Primary Health Network.
Before founding, Think Mental Health with Vanessa, Jason worked in various clinical roles at Lifeline Gambling Care, the ACT Academy of Sport, and the Australian Institute of Sport, as well as consulting with the AFL Players Association. He has also held non-clinical positions at Ernst and Young, ANU, and Mercer Australia.
