Meet Judy
Dr. Judy Clarke is a consultation liaison psychiatrist with an interest and expertise in mental health conditions that occur alongside or are caused by physical health problems, including medically unexplained symptoms. She has also undertaken specialist training in perinatal psychiatry and has an interest in women’s mental health including conditions related to hormones. Judy also sees general adult psychiatry and has a collaborative approach to working with her patients and other health professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care.
Judy undertook her psychiatry training in Sydney and before relocating to Canberra was a Staff Specialist Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at St Vincent’s Hospital. She has a longstanding interest in and commitment to the mental health care of rural and regional communities and continues to travel to Wagga Wagga, where she undertook some of her undergraduate studies at the University of NSW’s Rural Clinical School.
Judy works at Think Mental Health two days a week and offers GP management plans (291s) as well as ongoing care. She does not provide services for work injury, forensic, alcohol dependency, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) clients.
