Meet Natalie
Natalie is a clinical psychologist who enjoys supporting people of all ages but is particularly passionate about working with young people and their families and treating anxiety, depression, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), disordered eating and trauma-related difficulties.
Natalie adopts a warm, empathetic, and collaborative manner and believes in providing a safe and comfortable setting to help her clients feel empowered to make lasting change. She primarily works within the frameworks of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and has knowledge about dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) approaches.
Natalie completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Australian National University (ANU). During her training, Natalie provided evidence-based psychological interventions at the Research School of Psychology’s Clinic at ANU, in public mental health at Headspace Queanbeyan, and in a private practice setting here at Think Mental Health. Before becoming a psychologist, Natalie was a secondary school teacher and also worked as a telephone crisis operator at Lifeline ACT.
