Providing accessible mental health services to Canberrans
Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre is a Commonwealth-funded initiative commissioned by the Capital Health Network (CHN) and delivered by Think Mental Health. Established in 2021, originally as Canberra Head to Health, the service offers a team of professionals including psychologists, mental health assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, along with psychiatry input as required.
Canberra Medicare Mental Health Centre is located in Childers Street Canberra City, with a second centre located in Tuggeranong to be opened in 2025.

Our Team
Liz Muldoon
Service Manager. Liz is a Clinical Psychologist with 15 years’ experience across the public and private mental health sector.
Lisa Vithalis
Clinical Team Lead. Lisa is a qualified Social Worker and Counsellor. She has extensive experience in trauma, working with children and young people, drug and alcohol and mental health.
Julie Hanson
Julie is the intake team lead and is a registered mental health nurse with experience in both acute and community mental health settings.
Shona Curtis
Administration team lead. Shona has a background in real estate before moving into mental health.
