Meet Emily
Emily Bell is a provisional psychologist completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Australian National University (ANU). She will be seeing adults and adolescents aged 16+.
During her training, Emily provided evidence-based psychological interventions at the ANU student-led psychology clinic and at the Eating Disorders Clinical Hub. Emily’s research is focused on eating disorders, including the role of intuitive and mindful eating within eating disorder recovery. She also works part-time at the Eating Disorders Program.
Emily is passionate about working with people from all backgrounds and strives to foster a collaborative and supportive relationship with her clients. Emily works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, whilst also drawing from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills (DBT), Interpersonal Psychopathology (IPT), and motivational interviewing approaches.
Fees are significantly lower for provisional psychologist sessions. If you are interested, please contact the practice.
